Afghan woman
In 1985, one National Geographic magazine covercaptivated the world, that of the enigmatic Afghan Girl with the haunting green eyes. 17 years on, the original photographer, Steve McCurry, has amazingly managed to track down his subject. Her name is Sharbat Gula and her story is a fascinating one. I am trying to make those green eyes with my tablet, i will upload the complete painting in 1 or 2 days hopefully.
